BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
OF THE SAN CARLOS APACHE NATION
ABOUT US
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Carlos Apache Nation is part of a nationwide affiliation of over 4,000 local, autonomous organizations through Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) that serve almost 4 million youth annually across the nation. In 2012, The Chronicle of Philanthropy ranked BGCA as the nation’s top youth organization for the 19th consecutive year and 18th among all non-profit organizations. We are excited to be part of an incredible organization and movement that impacts and changes countless lives.

Since the first doors opened on Native lands over 25 years ago, over 200 Native Clubs have been established across the nation. Our Native Clubs now serve 90,000 youth annually by building deeply powerful relationships and opening avenues of opportunities. No matter why they enter a Club, young people leave with the knowledge that the Club Experience provides a fun, safe space where they can be who they are and become who they were meant to be.

Since its inception, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Carlos Apache Nation has been at the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances throughout the San Carlos Apache Reservation.

The Club offers opportunities to provide Native youth with ongoing
relationships with caring adult professionals, a safe place to learn and
grow, life-enhancing programs, character development experiences and, most of all, hope and opportunity. The Club strengthen the youth’s cultural identity through programming that explicitly promotes positive youth growth and development along critical cultural, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical dimensions.
